Weekly Update May #1

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 28 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all but one of the dolphin tours.
We sighted 2 dolphin species, the common dolphin and bottlenose dolphins. We also found harbour porpoises. No whale watching this week…
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Northern Gannet and European shag.
On average the tours rated 3 stars on our scale 1 tours had a rating of 4 and 1 tours had a rating of 2
We had to travel an average of 59Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h28 to cover it. On average we hosted 8 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 3.
Our CO2 emissions were 7.1 Kg per guest, a 7% improvement from last year.
This following week we expect good sea conditions, except for Thursday 15th with Tuesday 13th  and Friday 16th having the best weather of the week! This week, the biggest threat to the tours will the lack of bookings…
