Weekly Update November #3

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week was great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 34 months since the last failed ocean tour.
We sighted 2 dolphin species, the common dolphin and bottlenose dolphins.. No whale watching this week… And the Tagides group has not been spotted for 83 days.. So be aware of those party boats selling river cruises with dolphins, there haven’t been dolphins in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Storm petrel, Northern Gannet, Balearic Shearwater and European shag.
All tours rated 3 stars on our scale
We had to travel an average of 107Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~3h40 to cover it. On average we hosted 6 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 3.
This following week we expect poor sea conditions most of the week, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th are the best windows to go out while Wednesday 26th could be good enough on the afternoon. The next window will only be on Tuesday 2nd next month.
