Weekly Update October #5

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 34 months since the last failed ocean tour.
We sighted 1 dolphin species, the common dolphin. We also found harbour porpoises. No whale watching this week… And the Tagides group has not been spotted for 62 days.. So be aware of those party boats selling river cruises with dolphins, there haven’t been dolphins in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet and Balearic Shearwater.
All tours rated 4 stars on our scale
We had to travel an average of 76Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~3h06 to cover it. On average we hosted 11 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases but with the breakfast saved.
Sea state was on average sea state 0.
This following week we expect near perfect conditions for tomorrow, Monday 3rd Tours are cancelled until Sunday 9th and should be open until Tuesday 11th when the next storm system arrives.
