Weekly Update October #1

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 33 months since the last failed ocean tour.
We sighted 1 dolphin species, the common dolphin. We also found harbour porpoises. No whale watching this week… And the Tagides group has not been spotted for 34 days.. So be aware of those party boats selling river cruises with dolphins, there haven’t been dolphins in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet, Great Skua and European shag.
All tours rated 4 stars on our scale
We had to travel an average of 71Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h44 to cover it. On average we hosted 12 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases but with the breakfast saved.
Sea state was on average sea state 0.
This following week we expect good spotting conditions except for Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th which seems to not meet the requirements to go out..
