Weekly Update September #1

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 32 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all dolphin tours.
We sighted 1 dolphin species, the common dolphin. We also found harbour porpoises. No whale watching this week… And the Tagides group has been spotted 1 times in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet, Balearic Shearwater and Great Skua.
All tours rated 3 stars on our scale
We had to travel an average of 69Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h50 to cover it. On average we hosted 9 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 1.
This following week we expect poor sea conditions the whole week. We’ll likely have to close. Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th are the days that with a little improvement, we could go out. But Sunday 14th &onward seems to be the only days good enough for tours..
