Weekly Update July #5

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 31 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all but one of the dolphin tours.
We sighted 2 dolphin species, the common dolphin and bottlenose dolphins. We also found harbour porpoises and Sun Fish. No whale watching this week… And the Tagides group has been spotted 6 times in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet and Balearic Shearwater.
On average the tours rated 3.3 stars on our scale 2 tours had a rating of 4 4 tours had a rating of 3
We had to travel an average of 64Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h43 to cover it. On average we hosted 9 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 2.
This following week we expect very good sea conditions in the mornings. However, at this moment only Friday 8th and Sunday 10th onward have places available.
