Weekly Update July #1

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 30 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all dolphin tours.
We sighted 1 dolphin species, the common dolphin. We also found Blue Fin Tuna. No whale watching this week… And the river group has been spotted 2 times in the river.
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet, Balearic Shearwater and European shag.
All tours rated 3 stars on our scale
We had to travel an average of 64Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h48 to cover it. On average we hosted 10 guests per dolphin watching tour and 2 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 1.
This following week we expect good sea conditions until the weekend, when some wind is forecasted. Thursday 10th and Sunday 13th are the best days!
