Weekly Update May #2

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 28 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all but one of the dolphin tours.
We sighted 3 dolphin species, the common dolphin, bottlenose dolphins and striped dolphins. We also found and Sun Fish. No whale watching this week but they have been spotted in the neighbouring bay!
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Cory’s Shearwater, Storm petrel, Northern Gannet and Balearic Shearwater.
On average the tours rated 3.7 stars on our scale 2 tours had a rating of 4 and 1 tours had a rating of 3
We had to travel an average of 76Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h50 to cover it. On average we hosted 8 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 2.
Our CO2 emissions were 11.1 Kg per guest, a 3% improvement from last year.
This following week we expect poor sea conditions, only Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th seem to have a favourable forecast.
