Weekly Update April #2

Ahoy, intrepid explorers! This past week has been great for dolphin sightings, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you! We are the most successful dolphin watching boat in Lisbon, with 27 months since the last failed ocean tour. We found at least a second group in all but one of the dolphin tours.
We sighted 2 dolphin species, the common dolphin and bottlenose dolphins. We had 1 whale watching tour with Minke Whales. We also found Blue Fin Tuna
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Northern Gannet and Balearic Shearwater.
On average the tours rated 3.6 stars on our scale 3 tours had a rating of 4 and 2 tours had a rating of 3
We had to travel an average of 51Km to find the dolphins and return, which took ~2h28 to cover it. On average we hosted 9 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 2.
Our CO2 emissions were 8.5 Kg per guest, a 8% improvement from last year.
This following week we expect poor sea conditions, with Thursday 17th being the only day with good sea conditions and we’re planning doing a morning and afternoon tour. The next weather opening will be on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st.
