Weekly Update February #1

In the past week we found dolphins in all of the dolphin watching tours, 25 months since the last failed ocean tour.
We sighted 1 dolphin species, the common dolphin
For the bird watchers, we’ve seen: Storm petrel, Northern Gannet, Great Skua, European shag and Common murre.
On average the tours rated 3 stars on our scale 1 tour had a rating of 3 1 tour had a rating of 2.5
We had to travel an average of 61Km to find the dolphins, which took ~2h42 to cover it. On average we hosted 6 guests per dolphin watching tour and 0 seasickness cases.
Sea state was on average sea state 1.
Our CO2 emissions were 1.7 Kg per Km, a 9% improvement from last year.
This following week we expect poor sea conditions, with Tuesday 11thso bad that will not be any tours. On Thursday 13th is the only day with good Sea conditions, while the rest of the week will be only possible to do the river tours, as dolphins have been spotted in the Tagus River.

Weekly Update January #5

No tours this past week. We almost have a tour on Saturday 1st but with few bookings and not great weather we cancelled.

This following week we expect very good sea conditions, except for Friday 7th. This will probably be the best week of the month since on Saturday 1st the weather pattern seems to change dramatically for the rest of the month. Bringing storms with wind and big waves…
